Driving license of three categories i.e Light Transport Vehicle, Heavy Transport Vehicle and Public Service Vehicles are being offered, all you have to do is visit office with original cnic, take learner permit and after expiry of 45 days apply for full license. It is granted after passing practical driving test.
The Provincial Transport Authority and Regional Transport Authority provide route permits to commercial vehicles plying on different roads.
The fitness certificate of different vehicles are provided by Motor Vehicle examers. The vehicles are checked by motor vehicle examiners and are subsequently passed or failed for fitness.
The VETS certificate is provided in Vehicle emission Testing Station (VETS) Office where the vehicle is brought and checked by advanced machinery for emissions.
Applicants who wish to learn driving are dealt by government driving school, there they take full time classes and receive driving certificate after passing driving exams.
